Goldie Grunberg is focused on her skating, building explosiveness and top-end speed. She’s also developing her puck skills in motion to strengthen her possession game.

Outside of hockey, Goldie Grunberg has a wide range of interests. She competes in slalom waterskiing and plays school sports including softball and soccer. She enjoys camp, movies and TV, and art, and has a strong interest in engineering. Goldie has also traveled internationally to Australia, Japan, Spain, and the USA.

Goldie Grunberg trains at Everest Academy High School, where she spends four hours per week on the ice and three hours per week on strength and conditioning. She is also coached by Paul Macchia, Junior Associate Coach for the Durham West U22AA program.

Coaches should know that Goldie Grunberg brings strong achievements both on and off the ice. She earned her Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross swimming levels, made the Grade 8 Honour Roll, and holds a babysitter certification. Goldie has won a ski award at camp three years running (2023, 2024, and 2025). She also gives back through volunteering as a primary school classroom helper and at the Terry Fox Run.
