After university and hockey, Gabrielle Trochta plans to pursue a career in forensic science or in physical or occupational therapy, fields that bring together her interest in science and her drive to help people.
Outside of hockey, Gabrielle Trochta plays the piano and works out to build her strength and conditioning. She enjoys going on walks and runs with her dogs, cooking and baking, playing beach volleyball and mini golfing.
Gabrielle Trochta trains with skills coaches Nikki Petti and Matt Carey, and works on her shot with shooting coach Brody Kirch.
Gabrielle Trochta gives back to the game as a summer counsellor at the Golden Horseshoe Hockey School, the same program she attended as a player. Academically, she received the French Award in her Grade 8 year and finished her second semester of Grade 9 with a 93% average, earning Excellent ratings across her learning skills and work habits.
