Frequently Asked Questions

Reese Black hopes to continue her hockey journey at the highest levels, including a path toward the PWHL. Alongside hockey, she is pursuing strong academics with the goal of building a successful professional career, aspiring to become an orthodontist.

Outside of hockey, Reese Black stays active through CrossFit training and plays a variety of other sports for fun. She also values spending quality time with her family and friends.

Reese Black trains both on and off the ice. On ice, she works with Paul Matheson, along with Two Way Hockey Development and Next Up Hockey Development. Off ice, she completes her CrossFit training with Chris Inkpen.

Reese Black was named Grade 8 Athlete of the Year. She also volunteered at Northern Freeze, a hockey summer camp, where she now works as a staff member.
