Rory Goodman is always working to strengthen her skating, shooting, fitness, and hockey IQ. Her current focus is on executing breakout passes under pressure and generating offence from the blue line.

Outside of hockey, Rory Goodman is an active multi-sport athlete who enjoys golf, soccer, flag football, basketball, boxing, wakeboarding, skiing, and snowboarding.

Rory Goodman trains with several coaches across skills, skating, and conditioning. She develops her skills and gameplay with Colin Chaulk and Mike Hollander in the Beast Athletics High Performance Program, and with Tayte Landry and Annie Fahlenbock at Fierce Hockey. Rory refines her skating and edge work with Bronwyn Brennan, trains strength and conditioning with Michael Morgan, and boxes with Brandon Bourque and Wayne Bourque.

Rory Goodman is a well-rounded athlete with a strong competitive and community record. She played on her school’s soccer and basketball teams that won the Toronto District School Board Championships, and on the co-ed ball hockey team that finished second in the city. Rory is the starting quarterback for the girls’ Grade 7/8 flag football team and represented her school in javelin at the City Track & Field Championships. Off the field, she volunteers with Fierce Hockey’s Learn to Skate program, plays piano, and is learning guitar.
